IBX eProcurement

IBX eProcurement is based on MySAP SRM from SAP. It’s a turnkey web-based solution which supports the entire procurement process - from requisition to purchase order. With IBX eProcurement buying organisations can streamline the entire procurement process by automating requisition and purchase order generation, minimising data errors, and routing all documentation for approvals. You save money as well by restricting purchases to pre-approved vendors with preferred pricing and establishing business rules that enforce individual and departmental limits.

IBX eProcurement enables end-users to search for goods and services, create requisitions and place orders to suppliers.

Users access supplier content and call-off methods using the IBX Search Engine, a state-of-the-art search engine designed specifically for structured content. The search engine supports multiple call off methods, meaning that spend capture is not limited to traditional catalogue purchasing. Although typical catalogue content accounts for the majority of an organisation’s transaction volume (purchase orders), it usually misses the transactions that make up the largest portion of the purchase volume.

IBX Search Engine is specifically designed to support the procurement of most product and services categories through a number of call-off methods including, catalogues, end-user requests, free-text suppliers with search words and generic and product specific smart forms, punch out to external websites, advanced catalogues with smart forms, solutions for recurring spend, etc. The search engine allows the end-user to compare products, save favourite articles and it provides proficient search logic in a user friendly search environment.

IBX eProcurement supports both product catalogues and service information catalogues. In addition, free-text orders as well as supplier web shops are supported. When the end-user has created the requisition it will be sent to the appropriate cost centre or commodity approver before being sent to the supplier.
